From a young age, he developed a deep passion for music, beginning to create beats at just 12 years old using FL Studio on mobile before advancing to professional desktop production. His dedication and self-driven learning allowed him to refine a distinct sound that blends energetic hip-hop rhythms with melodic hooks and modern trap influences, earning him early recognition in South Africa’s hip-hop community.
Young Duragg first gained industry attention as a teenage producer, contributing to tracks like “HIM” by Kiddo CSA and Lucasraps, where his melodic and rhythmic input helped shape the song’s dynamic energy. In 2024, he released his "CERTIFIED PRESSURE", a six-track project showcasing versatility, from hard-hitting beats to more melodic, introspective sounds.
